REAP Sarawak, Malaysia Evangelists Report for July - December 2025

Dear Partners in the Harvest,

Shalom and greetings in the precious name of our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ. I trust you are being kept encouraged by the grace and goodness of God.

We give thanks for the gospel advance in Sarawak, which is very encouraging looking at the result. Thank you for your faithful support and prayers for gospel outreach in rural Sarawak.

The work of 40 REAP Sarawak evangelists saw:
Over 238,481 evangelised verbally,
Over 56,913 gospel tracts given,
Over 55,493 conversions to Christ,
Over 22,048 baptised,
4,400 bibles given.

We give the glory to God and thank you for your faithful sowing and prayers in gospel partnership. (Phil. 1: 3 – 5, 2 Cor. 9: 6)

Below are the reports of your REAP evangelists for your prayers and thanksgiving.

2) The local congregation will continue to grow and become a light.
3) For our cousins will receive the Gospel.
4) Progress in the new ministry location.
5) Good health for me.

My testimony this time is about a man from the longhouse village of SL named JAK. He is 32 years old and worked as a technician in a factory in B. J had mental health problems, which forced him to stop working and return to his village. He has a wife and two children. On July 23, 2025, J’s father invited us to his home because he no longer knew how to manage J, who sometimes became violent due to his mental illness. J’s father said, “Let’s try prayer, since even the sedatives have not brought any change for J.”

Praise God, the evening service went well. On August 14, 2025, the whole family accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior. That was the third service held in this house. Five people were baptized. J’s condition also improved. By the end of October, J was able to start working again. Praise God. Please continue to pray for J so that complete healing will happen in his life.

5) All churches and groups in Sarawak will experience spiritual revival.

We give all praise and thanksgiving to God, for His blessings and love continually accompany us in our ministry. By His strength and wisdom, we are still serving in the church today. Though trials may come, we are able to face them all with the help of the Lord. Praise be to God.

Ministry report July - December 2025

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The placement of the new ministry in 2026 at BEM B.
2) Every church activity that will be carried out in 2026.
3) The ability to quickly adjust to the new place of ministry and for God’s safety, guidance, and protection there.
4) Every activity at the central, district, zone, and local church levels throughout 2026.
5) The family, especially for elderly parents (father and mother) that they may continue to be protected by God.

The growth of the congregation’s faith has become increasingly evident as the true Word of God has genuinely transformed their perspectives. Through sound teaching, they have gained a deeper understanding of Scripture. Many have been enlightened by the Word delivered by the pastor, correcting previous confusion caused by false teachings.

Praise be to God, over the past three years of ministry in BEM NB and UB, several individuals who were once deeply entrenched in alcoholism have received the Lord, been visited by Him, and experienced transformation.

Praise be to God, throughout the ministry here, The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful new church building. At BEM NB, the church building has been fully completed, while at BEM UB, construction of the new church building is currently in progress.

My mother-in-law is 87 years old and suffered a spinal fracture after falling from the stairs. She was admitted to the emergency hospital in Lawas in November. The doctor said nothing could be done because of her age and she could only undergo physiotherapy. But by God’s goodness and through the prayers that were lifted up, praise the Lord, my mother-in-law can now stand and run. Every day she prays many times, whether in hardship or in joy.
