REAP Sabah, Malaysia Evangelists Report for January - June 2022

Shalom! Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ. I trust you are being kept encouraged by the grace and goodness of God. 

We give thanks for the continuous forward march of the gospel in Sabah through your prayers and support. The work of 48 REAP Sabah evangelists saw:
- over 59,800 evangelised
- over 13,900 conversions to Christ
- over 4,800 baptised
- 145 rural churches planted, and
- 7,200 bibles in Bahasa Malaysia given to new believers.

All glory to God! Thank you once again. Below are reports from your REAP evangelists for your prayers and thanksgiving. 

JK

JK is a 54-year-old married man with four children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Our cell head to be continually fervent in his service - may the joy of the Lord be his. 
2) The believers to stay fervent in Christ and grow spiritually.  
3) Our church members that some will be called to go to Bible school.
4) Our plans in the calendar to materialise and bear fruit.
5) The Lord to bless our fundraising program for the church repair. 

Praise God for giving me the wisdom and strength to reach out to souls who have yet to believe in God, leading me faithfully as I preached to 30 souls of whom 25 responded and received Christ. There are some undergoing baptism counselling classes. Praise God, His goodness goes before us. 

JA

JA is a 40-year-old man who is married with five children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Those who have heard the gospel but not yet accepted it.
2) The believers to keep growing in their faith.
3) The social economy of the people to improve, that they can find better sources of income. 
4) Me and my family to remain strong, fervent and committed in serving God. 
5) The kids who are studying to be good and successful students. 

Praise God that although the situation is not fully restored yet, I am very thankful that God opened the way for me to preach to a few hard-to-reach ones. Even though they have not accepted the gospel yet, at least they are open to hearing it and are beginning to join the church. Praise God as we pray for continued sowing in their hearts. 

PB

PB is a 35-year-old male who is married and has three children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) God to give me strength and courage in preaching the gospel.
2) Four families who have stopped coming to church. 
3) God to awaken the hearts of believers to work together and support the planned programs. 
4) Those who are not open to hearing the gospel nor receiving Christ, to be softened in their hearts at the right time.
5) God's sustenance on my family to embrace whatever challenges are ahead. 

I am thankful to God for the 7 who are joining our ICM discipleship class and another 7 who are in baptism counselling. Pray all may go well according to God's plan. I realise that without God's help in reaching out to lost souls, we cannot bring them to Christ - it is the Holy Spirit's work. Praise God indeed. 

RG

RG is a 31-year-old man who is married with one child.

Pray for:
1) Me to be given strength to serve.
2) The three who have received Christ and been baptised to stay faithful to God. 
3) The believers to grow in numbers. 
4) The believers to grow spiritually in faith. 
5) God's help to overcome every challenge that may arise in the ministry. 

I am so thankful to God for loving me and being with me in the ministry, and in every struggle I have had. Because of God's help, I was able to see changes in the village I am serving. Praise God for fellow brothers who are praying with me. God is doing a miraculous work here. 

that His presence goes before me in the ministry. Believers are growing in numbers every year and growing inwardly, fearing the Lord in their walk with Him. All glory to God. 

RTWK

RTWK is a 28-year-old male who is married.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Me to be continually strengthened in the ongoing evangelistic ministry. 
2) Funding as I continue my BTH.PTJJ studies. 
3) The ministry needs some form of transportation to get to remote places. 
4) The believers whom we are ministering to, to grow in their walk. 
5) The leaders to be united in serving God. 

Something new to me this year is serving together with my wife, finding ideas how to minister to the people, and learning to be salt and light to those around us. Praise God for this new partnership. Praising God we were able to preach to 32 persons and 7 accepted the Lord. These 7 proceeded to the waters of baptism. All with the Lord's enabling, praise Him. 

BS

BS is a 41-year-old male who is single.

1) The church building construction in three areas. 
2) The pastor's house construction

Thanking God for healing me of gallstones which caused a gastric upset. I am almost fully healed and able to serve more effectively in the areas of preaching and spiritual/physical development of the saints. Praise God for His miraculous help.
