REAP Indonesia Update January - June 2021

Shalom and the Lord's protection and provision for you and your ministry in these COVID-19 challenging times.

We give God the praise and glory that as we pressed on in sowing the gospel seeds, we have reaped (2 Cor 9v6). Praise God for the harvest in Indonesia. The collective work of 18 REAP Indonesia evangelists saw:
- over 49,400 gospel tracts distributed
- over 68,600 verbally evangelised
- over 5,400 conversions to Christ, and
- 22 churches planted

Praise be to God and thank you for the partnership in the gospel. Below are your REAP evangelist's reports for your prayers and thanksgiving.  

M

M is a 52-year-old male who is married and has four children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The believers to grow and mature in their faith especially in this pandemic season
2) The 5 who have been baptised to remain faithful in the Lord
3) Our eldest who was married and is now pregnant, that she may graduate from her studies this year
4) Our second who is working in a hospital to be protected from COVID-19
5) Our third child who has yet to get a job especially in this difficult time of pandemic

AS

A is a 38-year-old male who is married with three children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The church and its believers to grow their faith in Christ Jesus
2) Many to come to know the Lord in this phase of the pandemic
3) My family who are still hardened in heart, that they may believe, accept and serve God
4) My wife and kids to be kept in good health
5) Me to remain enthusiastic in serving and reaping new souls for God

Praise God for the prayers of his saints, the Holy Spirit moves hearts to come to know the Lord as we preach His Word. Praise His name for the many that responded to the gospel. 

M 

M is a 43-year-old male who is married with one child.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The ongoing ministry in the school 
2) My wife who is having some mental health issues
3) My child's spiritual growth and progress at school
4) My mum who is having knee pain in both knees
5) Our weekly prayer meetings on a Thursday
6) The believers' faith to grow strong in Christ

Praise God for the three families that believed in Jesus and out of these three families, three people asked to be baptised. For three months now we have been doing a baptism class for new believers. According to our organisation rules, an evangelist cannot do the actual baptism per se, but can conduct classes. Therefore, I will hand over the candidates to the pastor. I appreciate your prayers, fellow servants of God. May God bless you all. 

S

S is a 44-year-old male who is a widower with one child.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Spiritual growth of the believers, that their faith will bear fruit and be rooted in Christ
2) Our Sunday School and youth ministries, that this young generation be grounded and be followers of Jesus
3) Children's schooling at this time of COVID-19, that they be enabled yet continually depend on God
4) My family and also the surrounding community we minister to
5) Our country's leaders to be granted good health and enabling in handling the current pandemic

With thanksgiving over God's goodness and grace, we as His servants serve faithfully and diligently, experiencing His miraculous Hand in our lives. Prayers are answered and lives healed and restored. 

TA

T is a 46-year-old male who is married with three children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The believers' sustained growth even in this pandemic time
2) The believers' warranted fear of meeting up physically due to the coronavirus threat
3) My family to be always protected from COVID-19
4) Myself to continue serving God enthusiastically

I am thankful for the prayers of the believers at GAAP, that although one member had passed away from COVID-19, the others are still sustained and protected from the virus. Pray we do not give up looking to God as our Health and Provider.
