Prayer Requests
1) Her ministry and that God will grant her confidence and strength
2) That she will share the gospel effectively and bear much fruit
3) Revival for the church she is serving
4) That the people who have accepted the gospel will have a clear understanding of how much pain the Lord Jesus has gone through to save them
5) That my family members and daughter will thank and worship God in all circumstances

"One Sunday afternoon a sister invited me to share the gospel to her husband. I chatted with her husband on normal things before touching on Jesus. I asked him whether he has attended any church service. He said that he has attended church before so I further asked him what his impression of church was. He said the church was friendly and cheerful. I then shared with him on how God helped me and that now I am not scared to die for I know I have eternal life. He told me that he too would have eternal life because he is a good man and has done many good deeds, so he is worthy to have eternal life. I told him that I too thought like that before I became a Christian but then found out that eternal life is something priceless and that only God can give, we can't obtain it by good deeds. I told him that we are all sinners because of Adam's sin and only through Jesus can we have eternal life. I asked him if he is willing to accept Jesus after what I have told him. He accepted Christ and is coming to church with his wife."

4) For her to have wisdom and strength
5) That God will lead and guide her as she shares the gospel

"It was a Friday after my bible study and prayer meeting and I was walking home alone. On the way back I met with a middle aged man and gave him a tract. He looked very sad. He said that his mother is not willing to accept his father and the family is now in a mess. He did not know what to do. So I shared the gospel with him. I told him about God's grace, the sin of man, Jesus' death, resurrection and eternal life. He willingly accept Christ and said the sinner's prayer. He even asked for a bible. Later I came to know through him that his family is back as one. All glory to God!

ZRJ

ZRJ is a single 22 year old male.

Ministry report April - September 2016
Number of tracts distributed - 40 (not suitable to distribute tracts)
Number of people evangelised - 20
Number of conversions - 5
Number of people baptised - 3

Prayer Requests
1) ZRJ would like to further his studies while serving God at the same time
2) Pray for his family members who are supporting his ministry work
3) The youth ministry in a Miao church in his hometown. Pray for God to provide all our needs.
4) The minority churches in his hometown, that they will be blessed with good and godly teachers. Pray that the teaching will help them to be good pastors and leaders.
5) That the leaders of the churches will lead the believers in a righteous way

"The Miao is a minority group. Many still do not know about Jesus. Most of them are bound with their cultures and traditions. There are those that have heard the gospel but are still holding on to their own traditional religions. Even those that have been Christians for many generations are still holding on to their traditional beliefs. Most of them are still weak in their Christian faith. They still cannot fully trust in God. Most of them lack bible knowledge and do not have good spiritual leaders to lead and guide them. This is causing the Miao churches to be in a state of decline. The youth are very committed to their faith.

I pray that we need to have a good and effective Sunday school that will be able to groom up small kids into godly children. I also pray that God will grant me the diligence to be a good preacher that can help to mold and build up brothers and sisters in Christ to be set free from traditional cultures."

SLF

SLF is a single 23 year old female.

Ministry report April - September 2016
Number of tracts distributed - 50 (not suitable to distribute tracts)
Number of people evangelised - 10
Number of conversions - 5
Number of people baptised - 1

Prayer Requests
1) That her family members would be healthy and joyful in the Lord
2) For her health as a healthy body will enable her to serve God effectively
3) For her ministry - God's wisdom and leading to serve Him well and faithfully
4) The preachers in her hometown serving the Miao churches
5) That she would do well in her piano lessons

"I am very grateful to God for granting me the opportunity to serve in the music ministry in our church. This year brothers and sisters from other churches are coming to learn from me on how to play the piano during a worship service. I am feeling pressured because it is the first time I am teaching people on a personal level.

The pressure built on me is so sudden and huge but I am glad that I can be a help to these brothers and sisters. Since God gave me this wonderful gift in music, I too should bless others from the Miao churches. In total these brothers and sisters are from five different Miao churches. I am so glad that I am able to teach them so that their piano skills will be better and will bring sweet music to God's ear."

ZJ

ZJ is a 35 year old lady who is married and has three daughters.

Ministry report April - September 2016
Number of tracts distributed - 0 (not suitable to distribute tracts)
Number of people evangelised - 50
Number of conversions - 2
Number of people baptised - 0

Prayer Requests
1) A revival in our church. Pray for all brothers and sisters to be one in spirit.
2) Spiritual growth for all brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray that they mature in spirit and soul for God's glory.
3) God to bless Caring Tree Cultural House so that more disciples will be raised up
4) God to bless the ministry of her and her husband

"During the Christmas evangelistic program many non believers came. Even though the altar call response was not that good, we still has everyone to say a prayer of forgiveness. A couple from the Caring Tree Cultural House was one of them. They have been coming for fellowship and Sunday service also. Then suddenly the husband stopped coming but the wife still came. We are praying that through the Caring Tree Cultural House we might be able to share the gospel. Although one is saved, we pray and hope that more will come from there.

We were shorthanded this year for the Christmas event due to most of the teachers not able to help. We thanked the Lord since this event was organised by a group of ladies who are fervent for the Lord, they have been a big help for us. All glory to God!

Thank God for listening to my family's prayers. Pray that God will be with us always."
