REAP Indonesia Update from January - June 2017

Praise God that we can continue to sow and reap in Indonesia - the most populous Muslim nation in the world. The collective labour of 18 REAP Indonesia evangelists saw:

Over 28,000 gospel tracts distributed,
Over 13,000 people verbally given the gospel, 
Over 2,000 came to Christ, and
Over 450 baptised. 

Thank you for being part of the sowing and harvesting. 

M

M is a 47 year old male who is married and has four children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The congregation to grow spiritually
2) The 12 people that have been baptised. Pray that they will be steadfast in their faith.
3) My children to be good in their studies and be good children
4) Good health for me and my family
5) My foot which has been operated on recently

I praise God for allowing the area I am serving in to go through so much changes. This area was prone to thefts but now it rarely happens. In the past the people around this area did not want to hear the gospel but now they are more open. Many who have not come to church before are also coming. Praise be to God! 

AS

A is a 38 year old male who is married.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The Dayak people who are still engrossed in their culture. Pray for God to set them free from it.
2) The development in our sharing of the gospel, that it will be able to pull people towards it
3) My family, especially the old people in my home and my children and wife
4) Me, that I will serve God with all my heart and soul

We did house-to-house gospel sharing. We visited H's mum who is not able to walk so we prayed for her. H's mum was touched by the Holy Spirit and accepted Christ. Now she has been healed.  

S

S is a 40 year old male who is married with one child.

Pray for:
1) Pray for spiritual growth to occur in those I have shared the gospel to
2) Pray for the prayer team in their service
3) Pray for my child and parents who are in the village
4) Pray that I will serve God with all my heart and soul

Prayer has been answered in that two persons have come to believe and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour when I shared the gospel to them. 

M

M is a 39 year old male who is married.

Pray for:
1) The environment of the church and the school
2) Me, my wife is not supportive of what I am doing. I am also facing a lot of pressure from my family and others.
3) Protection and safety for me when I travel
4) That I will be strong in my commitment to God and will not waver with all the pressures that I am going through
5) My country, Indonesia, to be terrorist free

Thank God, the youth ministry was quite smooth. Many youths have shown interest in knowing Jesus, pray that they will be firm in their new faith and will not backslide due to peer and family pressures. These youths are so eager to share their testimonies.

T is a 43 year old male.

1) The development of the congregation
2) The ministries in the area we are serving in and the areas around it
3) Those who have accepted the gospel
4) My children that they will be used by God and be a blessing to others
5) For me personally, that I will be used by God in my ministry

While serving, many miracles have occurred. Two Muslims have believed in Christianity and are now part of the congregation although they have not been baptised yet.
