Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Us as God's servants who serve full-time here
2) The ministry here as we preach to the D and P people
3) Us to evangelise according to God's plan
4) The believers who have not met at the church for a while now, due to the lockdown, that their hearts will not grow cold
5) Our online ministry to encourage the believers even as they are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic

This is the testimony of EE and PB. They frequently invited us over for food, but PB was unwell and we urged her to go to the doctor to get some medicine. One evening, EE called to tell us that PB was talking in her sleep and being very disturbed. She said there were many people surrounding her. They were from the dead and she was very afraid. She could see her husband praying for her, but the 'people' laughed at him. She asked her husband to call us. When we got there it was late at night and the house felt cold. When we went in, PB said things felt better and the 'guests' had disappeared. The next day, the couple went to Sarikei hospital. It was found out PB had a lung disease. She was admitted and after being on medication for three months she was healed totally. Their persevering prayer and faith led them to enjoy God's goodness. Praise him.

I am thankful to God for His goodness and mercy throughout my serving Him. In times of lack, God suffices what I need. He is good. His mercies are new every morning.

Note: JM is moving to be a pastor of a church effective December 2021 and will be replaced with a new church planter in January 2022.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Our ongoing online ministry, which is an unusual way of reaching out to souls - it requires the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for breakthrough in the sharing of God's Word, as the Spirit gives life through His Word.
2) Me, my husband, children and grandchildren to have God's peace and protection during this time of pandemic.
3) People to adapt to a new way of living - everything is online now - church, school, food delivery, banking etc. which requires learning and re-learning - I myself find it very difficult!
4) The people who have lost their jobs, that God would open the way and give them a creative mind to source for daily income.
5) The people in the villages and long houses - it has been a long time since we ministered to them face-to-face; pray that God would strengthen their faith in Him.

Praise God that through this challenge of pandemic, we can preach and minister via online mode. Many are encouraged although limited from physical meet ups. Hallelujah.

Note: ML is moving on to be a pastor of a church effective December 2021 and will be replaced with a new church planter in January 2022.

3) Safety in our travels to the longhouses.
4) God to meet the ministry needs sufficiently.
5) My faraway family to also be protected in health.

I raise a thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ. Even though there are many challenges in the ministry, whether from the difficult travels or the people rejecting the gospel, He sustains me. When I take the time to pray, the Lord encourages my spirit. Regardless of the challenge I face, God helps me.

EA

EA is a 35-year-old man who is married with three children.

Ministry report July - December 2021
Number of tracts distributed - (verbal sharing of the gospel)
Number of people evangelised -
Number of conversions -
Number of people baptised -

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Those whom we are ministering to, to be moved to evangelise in new places.
2) Us to be able to move freely and evangelise.
3) The children to be able to go back to school, and be protected from COVID-19.
4) An evangelist in M to be able to resume his evangelism work.
5) My family and I to serve faithfully as shepherds in the church.

Praise God, the people whom we are leading are independent. The deacons are able to lead worship and share God's Word without the help of the pastors. Everything in the church can continue to run. Even the young people are following the leaders in their footsteps.

Note: EA is moving to another ministry effective December 2021 and will be replaced with a new church planter in January 2022.
