Recent Events
February Outreaches
Thank you for praying for our outreach in Phitsanulok province in February. I especially felt our message about father’s love touched the hearts of teens we met at a Youth Correctional Centre. These kids really needed to hear that they are loved.
NoiNon
For me the most significant destination on this outreach was the small school tucked far away in the countryside. This was the first time they heard the Gospel. However, I felt their hearts were not fully open yet to receive the message. Please pray that God’s word they heard will continue to work in their hearts and make them hungry to learn more.
Kanchana
Muslim Students
We got several new students from a school in a province South of Bangkok and Miew was marking their first lessons. One of them wrote that we shouldn’t pray for her because she’s a muslim. We dug further and realized all these kids from this school were actually muslims! They are taught that studying about Jesus is one of the worst sins one can commit; yet over 10 children/teens had done this first Bible lesson!
Please pray for these young people and many others who would like to know about Jesus but face opposition. Pray for God’s supernatural protection over them and guidance for us in this matter.
Library Project
Each week we send a set of our cartoon booklets to 500 schools in Thailand. We have been increasingly hearing feedback from schools/teachers who have received the package. Please continue to pray for God’s increasing favor for this project so that more and more students and teachers would learn about our loving Father!
Fahsai Club
Pray for our Saturday Kids’ Club where we teach English through the Bible. Manao is helping with this. Pray that more children would join and that they would be changed through the word of God, and that the club would also advance their English skills!
Summer Holidays
Thai schools will begin their summer break this month. Pray for all children that their time during the holiday would be safe and meaningful, and that many new children would join the various church camps going on around this time.
Saraburi church planting
Kanchana’s mum has received Jesus and has started to invite people to cell group meetings at her house. Praise God! Pastor Kitti from a nearby town is teaching. Now they’re facing some opposition from neighbours. Please pray that they can meet freely and that those neighbours would also learn to know Christ! Kanchana would also like to start a ministry among children there but she’s asking for prayer to decide what’s the best way to do it.
