Team Members

Win: Greetings to you from our Team. As we have said, the Covid-19 situation continues to affect our work as many Thai schools still aren’t open. A lot of them are teaching online. We thank God for the way He is opening up new ways to help us bring Jesus’ love to Thai children through online platforms. This is always challenging as we are learning new ways in which we can declare Jesus’ story. Thank you for praying with us, and for praying for each Team member. 

Nut: Please pray that I can have God’s ideas and be able to create new content to tell God’s story. Also, I need God’s wisdom to edit our videos. Pray that many more children will find our lessons online. Please pray for my health too. Now my back aches, which maybe is from sitting so much in my work. Bai: We’ve been concentrating on our project to use stories from our Bible lessons and puppet shows to make videos. We post them online. Now many more Thai churches use our lessons to teach children. But so many more Thai children can’t go to a church. We’re praying our videos help these children learn about Jesus and come to know Him

Jean: Now sometimes I help Bai, Nut and Manao make our lessons into videos. Please pray for our new lessons we are writing too. Also please pray for my health. A lump was found in the cervix, and I will need a second surgery. May God guide the doctor’s hands and give me good health. Also please pray for God to guide me in my work and use me in serving Him.

Kanchana: I still have work to do with setting up the administration and accounts of our Chomrom Nongrak Foundation. Please pray I’ll have wisdom in all this. It involves going to government departments. Pray for God to go before and we’ll always have His favour with us. Please pray too for God to protect me through it all.

Last Sunday I went to my mother’s village and four from FahSai club went with me. We had a worship meeting and Bible teaching in my mother’s house. Other family came too. Please pray for God’s peace in my family. I’m so happy to see my mother growing in her faith. Please pray for her and my family - especially nieces & nephews

Miew: Currently I am often sick. I had a test for Covid, and all the Team did too, but none of us have it. Please pray for God to give me good health so that I am able to do my job well. Also, I am praying that I will know God’s will more. Please pray for me as I write to children who are doing our lessons. I want to be like an older sister to them and help them know Jesus more.

Manao: Please pray for the new children’s evangelistic booklet that we are working on now. We ask God to keep giving us many new ideas for articles and stories to go in this booklet, and please pray too for His wisdom how we will present these stories. May God give us His ideas. Also, I am helping with new lessons we are writing, and we do need God to guide us in this.

One other thing I love to do is help teach the teens coming to Nonthaburi Church and in FahSai Club. I enjoy getting to know them and being a friend to them. Please pray for me in all these things. Also, please can you pray for me for God’s strength as I really want to serve Him.

Christian Children's Home in Chiang Rai

Many children in this Home have been doing our Bible correspondence lessons. Recently we heard that 12 of the children had Covid, and everyone in the Home had to be quarantined so no one could go to buy supplies and there are no deliveries there.

Our Team talked about this. We wanted to help, so we bought food, other supplies and also medicines they needed, and sent these up. They sent back this photo of some of the children saying thank you. We thank God we can help like this as well as praying for them. 

Update from FahSai Club and Nonthaburi Church

We thank God He is with us, even though we can’t do many things we usually do. We can’t have a full worship service because of Covid but we still can meet each week as a smaller group and have a meal together after we worship.

Recently 6 teens started coming and are keen to learn about Jesus. Please pray for them. May their hearts be open to seek to know and follow Jesus. Win, Kanchana and Jean share leadership for the Church and FahSai Club. They ask for prayer that they will do this in the power of God’s Spirit, and that God will guide and give His wisdom.

Personal Stories

We thank God for children like Chakriya, who is 11 years old. Here is her latest letter: 
Thank you for sending me a gift. I never had a birthday gift before, and I liked it so much. I can’t explain how it made me feel. I feel special. Since I began your Bible lessons, I have kept everything you sent. All the lessons, and the Bible too. The notebook I use, I took for my friends to read. They liked it too. I especially like lessons about God’s love. I was worried about some big exams, but I remembered to pray, and then it helps me feel better. God is really caring about everyone. I thank you God.

Puttipong lives at the children’s home, and he wrote:
I’m glad your Team came to visit us over two years ago. I still miss you all. I’ve completed three sets of your lessons. God taught me so much, and He changed me too. I was very stubborn, but now I am a more compassionate person and I want all children to know about Jesus more and more.

Prayer and Praise Points

Thank you brothers and sisters in Christ that you are always faithful in praying with us. Thank you for your love for Thai children and for our Team. Thank you that you are always by our side as partners. We pray for you also. May God bless you.

Thank you too that you are praying for the children of Thailand. Many children in rural areas are not getting much education at this time. Please pray for God to do miracles so they can learn, and so they can be kept safe.

And thank you for praying for every child who heard about Jesus in a school outreach or through our booklets or Bible lessons. Please pray for God to keep teaching them by His Spirit and helping them grow in Him.
