Rahab Update June 2017

 

Dear friends,

Thankyou for your consistent prayer and support. We are excited to update you on what has been happening at Rahab community and the way God is moving.

Rahab Office

We have recently finished renovating our office. Now we have a separate shop for our products (toys and jewellery). Please come by our office if you are ever in the city and check out our beautiful products handcrafted and made by our women.

Bible Study

This year we have started a monthly bible study for all the women who have decided to follow Jesus. The purpose of this study is to help them with their journey as they pursue God and lead a better purpose in life.

We are blessed to have so many women willing to come and be a part of this bible study.

Rahab Laundry Shop

Thankyou for your prayers. Rahab Laundry business is doing well. We have been able to employ four full-time staff. We are also looking into starting a new laundry shop in a different location so that we can provide more job opportunities to the women. 

 

Prayer and Praise Points

We request you to kindly join us in praying for the following needs:

1) Rahab Team: Please pray for good health, unity, and to hear God's voice and direction. Also, that Rahab will be able to reach out to many women and help them leave the bars knowing Christ.

2) Rahab Laundry shop: Please pray that God will provide us the right location and finances to start a new laundry shop.

3) Rahab products: Please pray for more marketing opportunities for our products.

4) Rahab bible study: Please pray that all the women who attend the bible study will have a change of heart and leave the bars.
