Student Update

Johnnery "Miko" Asper

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some updates and express my deep gratitude for your support throughout my academic journey.

Since I have completed my classes, I now have more time and energy to dedicate to my church activities. Over the past two months, I have been attending both our morning and evening church services. I am truly grateful to God for granting me the privilege of sharing His message more frequently. My heart has longed for these moments of sharing His word.

In addition to my church involvement, I recently discovered a prayer meeting held every Saturday at 6pm in our neighbourhood. I decided to join, and it has been a wonderful experience. Being able to worship, sing praise songs, share testimonies, and hear God's word with some of my childhood acquaintances has been truly uplifting.

In terms of my academic journey, I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully graduated, all by God's grace. After four years filled with challenges, doubts, countless prayers, and an abundance of tasks related to organisations, publications, and academics, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering on June 19, 2023. To add to this joy, I was honoured with the Best Thesis award in our batch.

I am also excited to share that on August 31, our college organised the "Voyage of Victory: COE Gold Gear Awards 2023" to recognise outstanding students in academics and extracurricular activities. I am immensely grateful to God for bestowing upon me the award of Dean's Lister and 1st place in a nationwide competition. It is truly heartwarming to reflect on God's work in my life over the past four years.

Lastly, as I conclude my journey as an IN Scholar, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support in my studies. Throughout my college life, I have consistently prayed that I would not disappoint you, and I promise to uphold this commitment. I will never forget how you allowed God to use you as an instrument in my life. Furthermore, I pledge to assist the next generation of scholars just as you have supported me. You will always be in my testimonies, prayers, and my heart.

Once again, thank you for everything, and my God bless you abundantly.

In Christ's love
