Teeth problems

9 February

Rose Gitau (KEN03b) has been having problems with her teeth and when the dentist finally decided to have an x-ray it revealed that most of her upper jaw was poorly and unable to hold teeth properly.  One tooth which was bad was removed.  Unfortunately she subsequently got an infection which was so bad she could not eat food and ended up being admitted to hospital and having all her teeth removed!  She was in hospital for two weeks and has only just now been moved from the hospital to a guest house to minimize the cost but still allow her to visit the doctor.  Please pray for Robert and Rose at this difficult time.

Sharon Kunda

Update on Sharon Kunda (MOZ03)

4 February

Just prior to Christmas we heard that Sharon was suffering from pain in her chest and arm as well as severe headaches and sweating at night.  They were concerned she might have a heart problem and after Christmas she returned to Zambia for tests.  We have just heard that the tests have shown her heart to be fine and they think it is her blood pressure which is causing the chest and arm pain.  She has been given some medication to take and things do seem to be improving.  She is okay during the day but finds the pain is worse at nights.  Please continue to pray for Sharon.
