special dayUpdate from EGM

Greetings in Jesus Christ's name. I am glad to share with you a few pictures of the sewing programme in Youhanabad. Pastor Suliman and his wife look after this, and she is training the girls.

Recent Events

Activities

special dayThere are 10 girls who have completed the course and who have received sewing machines and certificates. They are excited to have learnt these skills and to be able to use them now for earning an income. Three of them now have jobs working in garment factories.

The course ran for six months, and this is the second course that has been completed in Youhanabad.

Personal Stories

new skillsMW is a widow and was working in houses as a maid, washing clothes and doing other housework for a Muslim family. They paid her less than US$50 a month so it was very difficult for her to manage her household needs as she had to pay rent for the house, utility bills, school fees for three children, and groceries. During Covid-19 she was fired from her job and received food relief a few times from EGM Pakistan.

Now we have helped her to gain skills and work in a garment factory earning more than $150 a month. She is so thankful for Bright Hope World.

HJ is married to JM. He was working in a motor workshop but was severely injured in a road accident and his right arm was broken, making it difficult for him to continue to work in the workshop. Hina completed the course of sewing and cutting at the Youhanabad Sewing centre. She has started a small house business of sewing clothes. She earns money for her family. Thank you to Bright Hope World for this wonderful training.
