Second Semester Report from Efrain

Dear Bright Hope World,
The second semester of this year has passed very quickly; like no other year.

Recent Events

very different yearBible School Student Graduation

The graduation of the Bible School students took place in the month of September. We thank the Lord for each of the students we have had this year, for the strength and patience that the Lord gave them to continue to their studies despite not going out to town due to the limitations of quarantine. We are grateful for each teacher who dedicated their time to teach the subjects, and we are grateful that no student has become ill this year.

Weather

This year has been very dry, and the weather quite hot. We have had very hot days and it feels more so at night when due to the heat you cannot rest well. Thanks to the Lord, in the last weeks we had some rain and the landscape became very beautiful, raising our spirits. We also regularly have the visit of various birds that brighten the atmosphere.

Church

In the church where we serve, the face-to-face meetings have already begun with biosecurity measures but at the same time we broadcast the meeting through Zoom, and this has raised the spirits of many brothers.

Current Issues and Challenges

Due to the COVID pandemic we were only able to complete part of the first semester at the Technical School and unfortunately most of the students will not be able to continue the year for financial reasons.

Also, because of the modern engines now used in vehicles and electronic systems, the school needs more modern equipment in the area of diagnostics and audio visual, such as upgrading older engines with newer ones.

gratefulPersonal

As a family, we thank the Lord for giving us the privilege of serving him in this ministry, for giving us life and support, for giving us direction and sustenance in all this time. This year we also have one more reason for gratitude because the house in which we live already needed some repairs, maintenance and improvements, and thanks to the offering of a brother, it will be possible to do these jobs. In fact, we have already started doing several repairs after the students' graduation.

Currently we were looking for materials for home-schooling and we are studying the options. We thank the Lord that many offers are with Christian biblical principles.

Prayer and Praise Points

1) For the strength of the Lord in Christian life and ministry.
2) May we teach the Word accurately and clearly.
3) For the life and service of the students of this year's Bible College.
4) For the school education of our girls (home-schooling)
5) For economic support in the next year.
6) For the Technical School, that this year's students can return to finish their training.
7) For a vehicle to mobilize and do the ministry.

Thanks for your support and prayers.
Efrain and Janeth
