New Worshipping Community

God is at workMixed feelings of wonder, praise, joy and sadness were felt when the Gen San Church Planting Team graduated last February 1 from their two year church planting training program. WONDER and PRAISE to God Almighty who has made everything grow. The photo is the adults, young people and kids who are now part of a new worshipping community in Puting Bato. Rolando and Noemi with Ricky could only thank the Lord for how their Bible study contacts selflessly acted on building a gathering place for their Sunday worship which started only last June. The roofing and the curtains were all provided for by the new congregation.

As we witnessed their graduation day, we from ECPM agreed among ourselves that these people felt the sincerity from the team and a genuine demonstration of God’s love from them that’s why they were excited to gather together and talk about God’s love despite their trying situations. They meet on a reclaimed part of the river. Ate Noemi said in her testimony that their graduation from ECPM is a celebration and not an end, a moving forward in witnessing for Christ. Continue to pray for them as they disciple their members and join us in praising God for His marvelous act of producing new believers. Glory belongs to our one and only God.

Saranggani Team

providing supportThe Saranggani Team praises the Lord because our partnering church in Saranggani (Mountain Tribes Minstry) were able to network and provide for a feeding ministry which will help the team as they continue to reach their community in Itis and Basikong.

They conduct regular visits to both areas and Bible studies are usually held every Wednesday and Sunday.

Vida and Ella continue training, discipling and building relationships with our church planters in Saranggani. Our partnering church in Mindanao helps in hosting the module training and has been supporting the church planters in addition to the care and support from ECPM. Mountain Tribes Ministry also reviews the team after every module training.

Polangui Team

celebrationJeff, Ryan and Menchie graduated from church planting training in Polangui last February. Here in the photo they are with Christopher and Vic of ECPM and with Partnering Church worker K. Rudy Ortiz. Ranao-Ranao is continuing the work in Polangui. Please pray with us for provisions for Jeff as he continues the fellowship and ministry in Polangui as its main worker.

Youth in Missions for Christ (PHI07)

Campus Ministry modules for both Paombong and Puerto Princesa continue and will end by May 2015. Continue to pray for the spiritual growth of the youth and how this will help the youth ministry of their churches.

Also this coming October, ECPM YMC will lead young people for a Short Term Missions Engagement in different areas and ministries in Palawan. What is unique with this program is that the participants will have missions training every month starting May and will be sent off by their local churches in October.
