The support you provide restores dignity where it was lost, strengthens fragile households, and gives communities the courage to dream again.
We are deeply inspired by the way your involvement has empowered Fountain of Hope to stand with downtrodden communities. This commitment has not gone unnoticed — the Government of Zimbabwe has recognized the impact of our work and has invited Fountain of Hope to participate in Livelihood Assessment exercises.
We thank God for the testimonies being written in Makamure, Peniel, Mthombothemba, Chikofa, Heany, Majiji, and Mtshazo. Lives are being challenged, changed, and renewed. Hope is rising where despair once reigned.

The communities of Heany and Majiji are perched in the dry region of Matabeleland, where the soils are poor, sandy, and unable to hold moisture after each rainy season. These areas have long been characterized by hunger, starvation, school dropouts, and migration, as people leave for South Africa or Botswana in search of survival. Many end up working on farms in neighbouring countries or engaging in risky activities just to provide for their families.
Yet it is in such difficult places that Fountain of Hope has chosen to venture — bringing lasting change through the Word of God and practical farming solutions.
This year, 81 families in Heany and Majiji were trained in Foundations for Farming and received farming inputs. Recognizing the limitations of sandy soils and poor rainfall patterns, the focus shifted from maize to small grain crops such as sorghum and cowpeas.
This was a season of learning and adaptation. Farmers were trained to embrace new crops suited to their environment, and the results have been encouraging. The sorghum distributed produced abundantly, and half of the farmers are expected to harvest meaningful yields from their fields.
We thank God for the good rains He provided this season, and for the resilience of farmers who are now seeing their land slowly transform from barren soils into productive fields.
Mr and Mrs Moyo, residents of Majiji, have lived their entire lives under the shadow of hunger. Year after year, poor soils and poor rainfall meant their children grew up in a home where food was scarce. Often, the children had to go into town or nearby farms to beg for food.
But today, their story is changing. Through Foundations for Farming, they have learned to work their land with hope and faith. Their once barren soil is slowly becoming fertile as they apply God’s principles of farming. With the good rains this season, the Moyo family is preparing for a harvest that will finally bring relief.
For the first time, their children are guaranteed food in the home. And beyond physical provision, the family is experiencing spiritual renewal. Like many others in these communities, they are coming to Christ through the “Farming God’s Way” program.
Below is what the villagers had to say ;
• “We never imagined our land could produce food, but God has shown us that with His ways, even poor soil can bring life.”
• “Our children will eat from our own harvest this year — this is a miracle for us.”
• “Farming God’s Way is not only feeding us, it is teaching us to walk with God.”
• Food Security: Families are beginning to harvest small grains, ensuring survival in dry conditions.
• Hope Restored: Parents testify that their children no longer face the shame of begging for food.
• Spiritual Growth: Farming clubs are spreading the Word of God, leading many to Christ.
• Community Resilience: Farmers are learning to adapt to climate challenges, building long-term sustainability.
Heany and Majiji are communities once defined by hunger and despair. Today, through Foundations for Farming, families are learning to grow sorghum and cowpeas, children are guaranteed food, and households are discovering faith in Christ.

The Chikofa Community has long struggled with hunger due to poor rainfall and limited agricultural knowledge. Families often faced the painful reality of not having enough food to feed their children. But through the intervention of Fountain of Hope, supported by Bright Hope World, a new chapter of resilience and hope is being written.
Farmers in Chikofa have embraced Foundations for Farming, a method that emphasizes faithfulness, diligence, and stewardship of the land. Training sessions have equipped families with practical skills to cultivate their fields more effectively, even in dry conditions.
This year, many households reported improved harvests, with families able to store grain for the first time in years. Parents testify that their children are no longer going to bed hungry, and the community is experiencing a renewed sense of dignity and hope.

Beyond farming success, Chikofa is experiencing spiritual renewal. Farmers testify that learning to care for the land has also taught them to trust God more deeply. The community is discovering that transformation is not only about food but about living lives of faith, dignity, and hope.
The Chikofa Community is a testimony of what happens when practical farming skills meet spiritual empowerment. Families who once faced hunger are now harvesting food, children are healthier, and faith is flourishing.
