In November, we went to Phetchaburi Province to preach the gospel in schools. We were so blessed that we were able to work with this new church who have a heart and mission to reach children. During this trip, the church members joined us at all of the school outreaches. Some of the church’s business partners donated blankets for every child and teacher in the schools. We received approximately 1,000 sets which brought joy to both the givers and the receivers.
We want to thank all of you who prayed for us during these successful outreaches in Phetchaburi.
One day a young girl waited after the program to tell us that she had already visited the church (near her school). She was so happy to have us in her school, presenting the gospel to her friends. We often encounter children who are interested in Jesus. It is always so encouraging when we meet children like this!
In December, we will share the gospel in 7 schools, where approximately 1,500 children will hear about God, during Christmas season. May God's love and peace be with all of you.
Correspondence TeamWe are continuing to work on updating all of our correspondence lessons. The lesson content is now complete with only the exercises for the children left to be completed.
We are also preparing Christmas activities to be sent to schools. Children in the schools can join a Christmas card making competition to make a card that conveys the true message of Christmas. We are asking the schools to encourage children to participate in this competition.
Media TeamWe are currently working on two new video projects: A singing show called Bib Song and a show about the Bible called Bib Story. One video of the singing show has already been uploaded, and the response has been very good. Some kids who have met us during school outreach have commented on it.
1) Praise God for the outreach event in Phetchaburi Province in November. This was the first time we have held an outreach in this area and it went very well.
2) Please pray for the outreach events happening in December in Nakhon Nayok, Chonburi and Bangkok Provinces.
3) Please pray that everything goes smoothly during the outreaches and that the church may reap the harvest from these seeds sown during our gospel in schools outreaches.
4) Pray also for all of the children across Thailand as we head into Christmas time. Pray that they will not only hear about Christmas, but that they will encounter the true meaning of Christmas
5) Please pray that the children who have already put their faith in Jesus will experience spiritual growth. May they not remain merely believers, but become strong disciples of the Lord, firm in their faith.
6) Pray also for the children who have heard our gospel presentations, have had the seed of the gospel sown in their heart, but have not yet answered Jesus’ knock on the door of their hearts.
7) Pray for school teachers in Thailand. They have such a strong influence on the school children. Pray that they too will encounter God’s love and then influence their students with the Good News.
8) Pray for wisdom to all of our correspondence team members (Jean, Mew, Pai) as they update our existing lessons. Pray that they have the wisdom to do it in a way that draws the children’s attention, keeps their interest and teaches them solid biblical truths.
9) Praise God for Kanchana’s mother. God is continuing to sustain her even though she has been hospitalised.
10) Please pray for all of the children who have signed up for the lessons during our various outreaches. Pray that they will continue to learn develop a genuine relationship with Jesus.
11) Pray also for the many children who connect directly with us through our social media channels. Pray that they will not only enjoy the content, but that they will connect with the message that it brings.
12) Please pray for the new "Bible Share" project—a program that will be uploaded on all of our social media channels. This includes engaging children's worship videos.
13) Pray for our generations of graduates from our correspondence bible studies. Many of our graduates are now adults with children of their own. Pray that they would be bold and share the gospel with children all around them.
14) Pray for the needs of the children who write to us. Many face challenges with family, with friendships, with studies and hopes for their future, with finances and with feeling accepted. Please pray that God will reveal Himself to them.
