Refugee Assistance

It is a very difficult living situation at the camp near the Syrian Border, refugee families struggling to survive, facing life alone. No access to basic life supplies and medical help.

Manara International is thankful to the Lord who has enabled us to assist and provide for our suffering brothers and sisters. Distributing basic life supplies such as food packages, heaters as it is getting colder and the winds are harsh, and goody bags for the children to enjoy.

One project was to provide heaters for the school in the camp. The school is made up of a tent where students of all ages attend. Providing heaters for the school is of great importance because, as you can see in the picture below, there are no chairs and students sit on the cold floor during class.

To encourage these families to provide for themselves and earn an income a new project has started in this refugee camp. This project aims to provide families with a few sheep, as the sheep grow they will be able to benefit from their milk and meat for themselves and to sell them as well.
