Update from John and Nok   

Past

In January 2005 we began pastoring at Pathumthani Church. During 2007-2008 I volunteered as an English teacher in a village and held a healing night for the people. 50% of the people in that village came to Christ. 

During 2010-2017 we began a church-planting movement in Kampangpeth province. Following this, we trained our church members how to reach their family members and sent them to their home towns, leading to new churches starting in many provinces: Uthaithani; Roi-Ed; Mahasarakam; Surin; Nakhonratchasima; Lampang; Nakhonsrithamarat; Buriram; Khon Kaen and Supanburi. Many miraculous healings, signs and wonders happened and I recorded more than 1,000 video testimonies. Here are just a few highlights:  

One woman suffered from an enlarged thyroid since she was 14 years old. She came to know Jesus when she was 71 years old and began to pray that God would heal her. After 3 months praying, the swelling has now completely disappeared! One Buddhist monk had throat cancer. Anything he ate or drank trickled out through his nose, so the doctor inserted a feeding tube. After he began following Jesus and prayed before each meal he could eat and drink normally.  

John and I moved to a strongly Buddhist village in Supanburi in 2018. We found that the local leaders were the key people to lead others to Christ. In the end, the Buddhist temple was close to closing because no-one went there. Many monks began following Jesus and experiencing physical and spiritual healing. The whole family of the village leader came to Christ during the year we were there. 

Present

During the last few years we have seen signs and wonders, healings, the dead have risen and there are many new churches around Thailand. And one day very soon I believe we will see Thailand belong to Jesus. I believe that one way this will happen is through TV. I have begun to share short video clips of the great testimonies happening every day over Facebook and Youtube. In just one month 50,000 Buddhist people watched the videos and 5,000 people prayed the salvation prayer. We now have 15 volunteers from Pathumthani church who are following these people up through phone calls and chat messages. 

In this past month many Buddhist monks, sick, deaf and poverty-stricken people contacted us to learn more about Jesus. One monk left a comment saying “Jesus is the real God. As I studied your VDO clips I realized he is higher and more holy than any other God”. One of our most impacting videos is the one helping people pray to be set free from the karma resulting from abortion. The feedback has been very positive. From 10–30 January 2019 there were 58,658 views, 9,354 “likes” or comments, and 243 people shared the videos with others. 60 people said thank you for sharing this good news, while there were 10 negative comments stating that it is impossible to remove karma. 

We have found that social media is a powerful tool to reach Thai Buddhists who have no churches in their towns or villages. It reaches them right where they are. Here are some testimonies from our media ministry:

A woman who has been totally deaf from birth read our teaching and after 7 days began to hear and is now believing God for complete healing. Another woman was being tormented by evil spirits. After she prayed the salvation prayer, she immediately found peace and release from bondage. 

God has shown me that through the testimony of people like these women, He can reach all of Thailand in only one day. Please pray for us, and that God will give us wisdom. We are believing to see 3,000-5,000 register for water baptism. What a great celebration that will be! Our church members are preparing the logistics of how to do these baptisms.  All things are possible - Thailand will belong to Jesus one day!
